Bouquet from MOISEIKIN to ASEAN

Jakarta

On August 9, 2017, the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) was opened in Jakarta.

Noting the great significance of this event, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov and His Excellency ASEAN Secretary-General Le Luong Minh emphasized the mutual desire to develop comprehensive relations between Russia and the ASEAN countries.

At the Opening ceremony, Sergei Lavrov thanked H.E. Le Luong Minh for a warm welcome at the organization's headquarters and handed him a souvenir - ASEAN Bouquet.

Handmade by the masters of  MOISEIKIN Jewelry House, the souvenir represents a stylised rice shoots sheaf vase with a bouquet of ten flowers- symbols of the ASEAN countries and Camomile – the symbol of Russia.

Molded from silver, with gilding, the composition is mounted on a malachite mount. For a long time, malachite symbolizes the Ural region of Russia, famous for its natural riches and craftsmen, where this bouquet was "gathered".

Thus, MOISEIKIN in its own way formulated the idea of lasting and honest cooperation and strengthening of Russia's positions in the Pacific region and in Asia as a whole.

The ASEAN Bouquet from MOISEIKIN will be kept at the ASEAN headquarters in the capital of Indonesia.
