MOISEIKIN at “WAR and PEACE” Russian Ball in Hong Kong

On 17 March, 2018 Russian Club in Hong Kong hold the IX Russian Ball.

Russian Club in Hong Kong is a community of compatriots from the former USSR, as well as of like-minded people with interest in the Russian language and culture.

Russian Balls, devoted to various realia from the history and culture of Russia, are held every year.

High society balls of the XIXth century, described in the “WAR and PEACE” novel by Leo Tolstoy, inspired the theme of this year’s Ball.

Stylishly decorated Ball-room at the Langham Hotel with delicious supper and historical dances made the evening for over 180 guests, including local dignitaries and celebrities, and representatives of the Russian-speaking business community of Hong Kong.

Traditionally MOISEIKIN, together with other sponsors, provided two lots for the Charity auction. Both lots of the company – the silver dachshund, collectible symbol of the 2018 year, and charming amethyst earrings greatly impressed the guests and were bought at a very high price.

This memorable event was hold with support of the Consulate General of Russia in Hong Kong and Macao, PRC to benefit the Hospice Charity Fund “VERA”.
